EXMINISTRO DE SALUD DEL PERU
Exministro de Salud del Perú. Médico de la Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, con Maestría en Gerencia, Planificación y Políticas de Salud (Leeds University - Inglaterra) y Post Grado en Economía de la Salud (Universitat Pompeu Fabra - España). 30 años de experiencia en sistemas y servicios de salud, 15 de ellos en más de 10 países de América Latina y el Caribe.
Ha sido funcionario del Ministerio de Salud, Ministerio de Desarrollo e Inclusión Social, la Agencia de los Estados Unidos para el Desarrollo Internacional (USAID), Ministerio Británico para el Desarrollo Internacional – DFID, el Fondo de Población de las Naciones Unidas - UNFPA, Organización Panamericana de Salud/Organización Mundial de la Salud (OPS/OMS).
Profesor del Programa de Especialización en Gobierno y Políticas de Salud en la Pontifica Universidad Católica del Perú, del MBA de Gestión en Salud de CENTRUM Católica, Profesor Visitante de la Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia. Coautor de los libros “Historia, Salud y Globalización”, “La Salud Hoy: Problemas y Soluciones” y “Buen Gobierno y Mejor Gestión, cómo entender y fortalecer el Estado en tiempos de pandemia”. Actualmente se desempeña como director ejecutivo de Gobierna Consultores SAC.
